If you could live for one thousand years in good health… What would you do? Where would you go? Who would you spend it with? How would you fill the time?
One thousand years seems like a long time, maybe too much time?
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. (2 Peter 3:8)
If you could live for one day in good health…what would you do? Where would you go? Who would you spend it with? How would you fill the time?
The truth is God has given you a thousand years…today! God has offered you the chance to experience the fullness of today. There are a thousand blessings to see in one day!
Jesus once said to a blind man, “What do you want?” The blind man replied, “I want to see again.”
Only God can help you see a thousand years in one day. Only God can offer you a thousand blessings in one day. Only God can show you eternity in one day!
One day is like a thousand years to God.
“The time has come,” Jesus said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15)
One day offers the promises of salvation!
Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. (Psalm 84:10)
